This is the age of information technology. It is an era of communication. In order to stay continually relevant and be recognized as a force in your field, there is a need for effective communications.

The driving force being it all is the internet. It is a modern day invention that greatly enhances communications on this planet. In this context, any organization worth its salt has to have a website that captures the very essence of its existence on the internet.

The Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) has long recognized the vital role that the internet and a website play in effectively communicating its many activities.

The APC has thus also encouraged all members to establish their own websites which can be linked to that of the APC.

To ensure the effectiveness of the APC website we recently embarked on a project to reconstruct it. In now re-launching the ‘new look’ website which incorporates many interesting user friendly features, we hope that it will do even more to promote the APC.

Indeed, there are many in various parts of the world who have expressed a keen interest in wanting to know more about the APC and its programmes. The APC is one of the most active sport associations in the world with many milestones crossed.

I am therefore confident that the APC website will see a good number of daily ‘hits’.

We will strive to improve its contents even more from time to time. In this regard, I urge all members and others users to forward us their comments on the new website to assist us in achieving this.
