CEO - Mr. Tarek Souei

Tarek graduated in Hearing Impaired Education, and worked as a speech therapist in rehabilitation centers for 23 years. He has been involved in sports as an athlete first, then as coach and team manager for various sports clubs for people with an impairment. Starting as technical secretary for the Al-Ain Club for the Disabled, then the UAE NPC, he is now the APC CEO.

APC Relations & Services Senior Manager - Ms. Claire Magras

Claire joined the APC in August 2015, after 5.5 years at the International Paralympic Committee as Membership Relations Manager. She is in charge of supporting NPCs in their activities, structure and development and participation to events. She is responsible for the organisation of meeting of members, and helps with the implementation of the APC Strategic Plan at the internal level.

Sports Manager - Mr. Shaun Lee

Seung-hoon (Shaun) holds a European Master’s Degree in Adapted Physical Activity. He has been involved in both the Guangzhou 2010 and Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games, and now works part-time for the Pyeong-Chang 2018 Paralympic Games as Venue Manager. At the APC he oversees the preparations of major sports events, and supports the Sports & Development and Games Liaison Committee in their activities.

Protocol & Events Manager - Mrs. Mona Azzam

Mona has a degree in Commerce and Economics. She has held various administrative positions in the UAE before specialising in the art of etiquette and protocol. She is in charge of the logistics surrounding APC events organisation.

Communications Manager - Mrs. Jane Jones

Jane was Director of Communications & Marketing for the British Paralympic Association (2007 to 2015). She led the successful commercial and communications strategy for the British Paralympic team at the London 2012 Games. Jane is a member of the IOC Communications Commission.
She is in charge of the communications strategy for the APC, including the APC website and social media.

Finance Manager - Mr. Amin Alkassas

He is from Egypt, has a degree in Business and commerce and worked more than 35 years in many finance departments around the world and he worked also for 14 years with UAE NPC.

Administrative Assistant - Ms. Michelle Abad

Michelle holds a degree in Business Administration. She started supporting the APC in the lead-up to the Membership Gathering in May 2015, and became a full-time employee shortly after. She takes care of the general administration of the APC Headquarters and monitors the info@asianparalympic.org address.
